Acne is a skin disease that has affected a lot of people worldwide. About 85% of people are affected by acne at some point in their lifetime. Pimples are a huge symptom of acne that can be, sometimes, so frustrating and annoying.
Pimples often appear on dry skin. People have started using natural remedies to get rid of pimples but only a few remedies have been proved helpful. The following are some natural treatments that are proved to get those pimples off your beautiful face.
Treating pimples using Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is widely known to fight bacteria and for reducing skin inflammation. Tea tree oil can be relied upon for treating acne disease and well as the epidermis. These two types of bacteria are the root of those pimples on your skin.
According to a study, 5% tea tree oil put in a gel is effectively equal to a pimple reducing lotion containing 5% benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is a medicine used for reducing acne. Using tea tree oil instead of this peroxide will result in lesser side effects. To use it on your skin, you need to add water about 9 times the amount of tea tree oil you are using. Dip a cotton piece in it and gently apply it on your pimples. Repeat this process two times a day for better results.
Treating pimples with other essential oils
There are various other essential oils available that can eliminate acne or epidermis bacteria from your skin easily. Tea tree oil is a great option but applies the following oils as well for a speedy recovery.
Cinnamon, rose, lavender and clove essential oils should be applied in addition to tea tree oil to get rid of annoying pimples.
Rosemary, lemongrass, orange, and sweet basil essential oils can increase the speed of the healing process. These oils can be easily bought online.
You need to combine the essential oil with the same amount of water as mentioned in the above method. Use cotton once again to apply the mixture gently on to your pimples. Repeating this process 2-3 times per day can get rid of pimples in a short period.
