Honey is useful specifically against the red swollen pimples. While cinnamon can prove effective against acne scars. In addition to these two ingredients being anti-bacterial, they are excellent moisturizing agents as well.

The acne pimples on your face, chest, and back, etc. can be nicely treated using a honey and cinnamon face mask. They will also fight fine lines due to the natural properties in them. Cinnamon has some compounds that will promote circulation which will bring more blood towards your skin. In addition to this, honey contains some useful organic acids including glycolic acid. All of these organic acids prove useful in “eating away” the dead cells from your skin.

Here is how to make a honey and cinnamon face mask to treat acne

Making a honey and cinnamon face mask

Follow these steps carefully and properly to create a honey and cinnamon face mask for you.

  1. Take a small bowl and mix a teaspoon of cinnamon with 2 tablespoons of honey in it
  2. Mix the mixture until cinnamon completely blends into the honey
  3. Apply this mixture on your face.
  4. Keep applying it until you get an even coverage of your face with the honey and cinnamon mask
  5. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes
  6. Now rinse your face with lukewarm water

Repeat the process for about 2 times a week. If your skin is sensitive, cinnamon might irritate it. Hence, do not repeat the process for more than 2 times a week. If any sort of irritation occurs, rinse your face immediately with fresh water.

If you want a stronger face mask, you can consider adding a teaspoon of nutmeg to the honey and cinnamon mixture. Mix it thoroughly until you get a fine and even mixture. Apply this mixture on your face until you get an even coverage of your face.

Leave the mask on for about 10-15 minutes. Finally, rinse your face with warm water. This honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg mask are quite effective for soothing burns, acne scars, redness, and swollen places.
